The Estuary II
The Estuary II, will provide additional new construction affordable rental homes fully dedicated to formerly homeless households built within the city of Alameda. The development will include multi-purpose community rooms with spaces for classes, onsite resident services, case management, therapy-type services, computer access, and social events. Onsite social services will be provided free of charge to all residents including case management, supportive services, connections/references to healthcare or other resources, and life and job skills training. Additional building amenities will include secure bike storage, on-site laundry room, and an elevator. Beautiful water-conscious drought tolerant landscapes serve as outdoor community space including areas for relaxation, exercise, and outdoor seating and gathering. A pet play and relief area, along with a community garden can be used by residents of these properties. These new affordable homes are built with a focus on creating open space and a connective neighborly environment which will integrate seamlessly with the surrounding community.
